About
I'm Alyson. When my daughter arrived in 2017, my whole life shifted, and so did how I felt about work. I read all the books and journaled my way through it, and I still couldn't see my own situation clearly. Coaching meant a serious cost and commitment. I went looking for something in between, structured and made for mothers, and couldn't find it. So I built it for the version of me who needed it first.
My background is in occupational therapy, with fifteen years in community mental health and a certification in perinatal mental health.

Questions about the Career Clarity Report
Do I need a career coach instead?
You don't need a coach to use the Career Clarity Report, but the two can complement each other if you'd like both. Coaching gives you a person in your corner over weeks or months, with the cost and commitment to match. The report gives you a structured read of where you are and a first plan, on your own time. One woman who's taken the assessment is using hers alongside her career coach.
Is this counselling or therapy?
No, the Career Clarity Report isn't counselling or therapy. It's a decision-support tool, built on my background in occupational therapy and perinatal mental health. It isn't coaching or professional advice either, and buying it doesn't create a professional relationship between us. If you're having a hard time with your mental health, please reach out to a qualified professional.
Do I need to know what I want first?
No, you don't need to know what you want before you start. The assessment finds your pathway.
What if I'm not in paid work right now?
The Career Clarity Report works for you too, including if you're on leave. The questions ask about your current work situation, and your report starts from there.
Is AI involved, and what happens to my answers?
Yes, the Career Clarity Report is generated by AI from your answers. Your answers aren't used to train AI models, and they aren't sold. The money questions are optional. The full details are in the privacy policy.
What if my pathway doesn't feel right?
Your Career Clarity Report explains why your answers point to your pathway, and it shows all five side by side so you can see where yours sits. Sometimes it takes a moment to settle. Pathways aren't fixed, either. They describe where you are now, and that can change. If something still doesn't fit, email me at hello@fromhereco.ca and I'd be happy to talk it through with you.
How long until my report arrives?
Within two business days of submitting your answers, your Career Clarity Report arrives at the email you used at checkout. If it hasn't arrived by then, check your junk folder, then email hello@fromhereco.ca.
Can I get a refund?
You'll get a full refund or a replacement report if something goes wrong on my end and your Career Clarity Report doesn't arrive. Because each report is written from your own answers, I don't offer refunds based on the content. If you think your situation is an exception, email hello@fromhereco.ca and I'll look at it with you.
